Ma vie c'est de la merde, et je vous emmerde sur un forum

I went to a family in England when I was in High School, the only thing horrible, for me and all my friends, was the food ! You shouldn't worry, I'm sure they're gonna be ok. ![]()

"My neighbours always listen to some amazing music…whether they like it or not."
True story !
By the way, I wonder how your trip was, Piki ? Did you enjoy London ?
Hors ligne

It was GREAT !
My English family was so nice, especially the mother, and we've eaten good food.
I was a little disappointed of London
I prefered the city of Bath !
Hors ligne

I went to Bath 7 or 8 years ago… And I remember it's a very beautiful city…
It is possible to eat good things in England ? ![]()
Spoiler : Afficher
Non, I don't have any prejudices… At all…
Hors ligne

I think Bath is where Charlie lived when he was still living with his family ^^.
Hors ligne

Sami, you'll never stop to speak about him? ![]()
Hors ligne

No ! Never 'cause I'm in love with him ♥. Remember Charlieissocoollike :p
Hors ligne

Bomb' > Yes it's possible ! The first evening we ate pizza AND chips AND pastas. It surprised me.
Sami > Ahah yeah I know. But he moved in London, didn't he ?
Hors ligne

But thinking of the fact that he won't ever know me makes me feel so sad T_T
Piki: how do you know it
? You're a fan, don't lie to me :p ?

"I want to break free"... (from work)
Seriously, what's so difficult about learning some irregular verbs ?! If think even the dumbest ass is capable of that, why aren't my pupils ?

I remember that I had some problems to learn German irregular verbs even if some of them where similar to english
. I found that it was hard to know every irregular verbs from the book. ![]()
Hors ligne

It's not like I expect them to know everyone of them perfectly, but I still think they could try more... Some didn't even know one verb.
I think it's like the easiest thing in a language, you just have to learn, you don't have to think or try to understand anything.
Hors ligne

Yeah, that's true . Maybe some of yoour pupils did'n't learn the verbs (if they don't even know on verbs
).
I think with more practice, maybe they will remember the verbs ?
Hors ligne

I totally understand your pupils !
I always had problems to learn my irregular verbs, especially in German. As you said, there's nothing to understand and for me that's the difficult thing. When I understand something, I easily remember it. But if there's nothing to understand, how could I remember it ? I'm really bad to learn by heart.
Hors ligne

It could be a problem for some pupils to have to learn something that they don't understand. If I take the example of my law lessons, I have no problems to learn them because it's easy to understand. Law is law. It's more difficult to apply the law in a practical case. But if I have to learn a thing that I don't understand, like a complicated lesson of mathematics in my other BTS, I can't. Whereas I remember easily lots of things that are less important.
(I'm very happy to read and to practice english because with my teacher it's horrible, we don't work and she speaks rarely in english ! I've "rouillé" completly !)

Astia, yes, ten by ten, but not in a week, it's more like a week and half, something like that. And we trained together in class, they seemed to be ready, that's why I was a bit disappointed. But that not so important after all, it doesn't count so much in the final grade.
I just feel like it's so much easier than declinations and conjugations and those sort of stuff, I really thought they were all gonna write some good tests.

That's normal, I think. And some barbarisms are really funny !
Gosh, I miss khâgne, sometimes...
Hors ligne

I don't speak well in English, but i'm going to try!
Please tell me how you "wana" said -> "I'm gonna try" or "I gonna try"? ![]()

Hello everybody! I've just discovered the topic and I find it really interesting! Great idea!
@magicbyb: I'm not sure about what you asked, but the correct sentence is "I'm gonna try" even if it's colloquial.
